between my 3rd step and slide, my hand position......
« on: November 15, 2016, 04:06:55 PM »
For the life of me, I can not stay behind the ball like I used to. But, when rolling my spare ball, I could.  :o

On my third step, as the ball move up my back swing, my hand is behind the ball, fingers below the equator. on the same area on the down swing, my hand is already turned (counter clockwise) and my fingers are @ the 4 o'clock position. the fingers holes are on and above the equator - and at times higher..... In slow motion close up view, as my thumb exits the hole, my hand is close to the 3:30 o'clock position. From here my hand slightly rotates clock wise as the ball rotates off my hand and fingers. In the end of all this, my hand is located at the upper right quad as the ball leaves my fingers.

what hasn't changed much is my axis tilt, it's still very low. My rotation was 45* but it has increased the last 3 years.

I don't know what to do....

Lefty?

Just asking to get perspective, as I wonder if you're suitcasing the ball at the point of release..

I'm a righty.

Similar to her release, only my hand slightly rotates back clock wise - like from 3:30 to 4:30 (not exactly like this, but motions back) with my palm almost flat facing up as the ball leaves my hand.
