Unless I was a shop I couldn't see myself ever doing that.  They actually give a quote for shipping if you can't pick them up.

This is possibly the stupidest thing I have seen on eBay.

Almost $1200 for 75 used balls? Wow, someone can't do math.

Not necessarily...they could always rent a uhaul and pick them up personally..rental fee and gas might be less than the shipping charges

Not only that, I don't see it listed anywhere what balls are included(just pics) and what weights...I hope the bidder asked that before bidding

Maybe they don't want the balls for bowling. Maybe they plan to use them for another purpose.

If someone was local and could pick them up $600 is certainly not terrible. Clean the bags up, plug and resurface the good balls and scrap the crap. Provided you can do the work yourself there is certainly some money to be made, it looks like there's two NIB and there's a number of balls that aren't that old that could command $40-$60 plugged.

I have no doubt, I wouldn't make the purchase myself. My only point was that there is money to be made in the right circumstances.

I remember picking up 67 free off Craigslist. Total pain. Took them to try to help out my son’s bowling team. Had a couple kids take a few. Wish more kids had availed themselves to at least the plastic to use for spares.

Rest I ended up donating to a bowling center for free games.
