bowling keeps me entertained - constantly.  People with low averages need more new balls than than those with high averages because each new ball is like a bit of magic.  I need all the magic I can get - it is true that practicing with my straight ball 20 to 30 games per week put some magic in my game....still...am about to look at ebay for a super ball at a super price.  Perhaps a rubber ball for spares........

My collection is limited by space - not need.  This is not how I earn a single cent.  This is my fun...perhaps not forever....

If I didn't bowl I would golf.  How many clubs can be your bag?

I don't you CAN have too many! Every ball serves it very own purpose, and has a reason to be on the rack lol.

OK, maybe after about 1000 balls at one time, then it TOO many........but that's it.

Apparently I have too many.  I have four that I throw, including a spare ball, and 4 that I don't.  Every time I mention getting a new ball someone in my family is like you already have too many.  I say to them, apparently you don't know the people on BR .  I'd like to have about 6-8 then I'd be good.

But you should admit you have too many if you can't name them all and how they're drilled.

I admitted it last spring when I sold all 60-something Lane #1 balls I had collected. I am now at 15 which is about 5 too many.

Just breached 50 when I got Lanemasters World Class Particle Pearl in this weekend.  Couple more on the way and then I swear...no more!

(This really reminds me of my drinking days when I would swear I'd never drink again...three days later I'd be trashed again.  Has anyone started a Bowlingballaholics Anonymous group yet? )

We should set up a weekly meeting for Bowling Ball Junkie Anonymous.   I am at 20 right now and I want to get rid of 4-6, but I like them.  I used to have balls that I didnt care if I sold, but now I don't have that ball.  They are all family.   How could I sell my Original Inferno?   It's the Original Inferno!  How could I sell the original Black Widow?  or the Blue Vibe?  I can't.

I think where I go wrong is the 16lb arsenal that sits there, that I don't use.  I only use 15 now but the 4 16lbers, are still family.  A BW solid, a Big Shot, an AMB Centaur, and a Hyjinx.   They may have to go, but I'm putting it off.

I think one has reached that point when he is coming back from drilling the newest-hottest-rarest-whatever Ball to put it on his ballrack and...

...find out he already have 2 of them.

... on the other Hand...
You don't know what condition you will face in the next tournament AND there are 39 Boards... so 40 balls sounds logical.

You know you have too many when you average starts going down, due to not knowing what ball to throw..  Honestly If you cant get it done with a 4 ball bag there is something wrong, and you need to take up another sport.
