I remember when the Brooklyn Dodgers moved to Los Angeles...
I remember Chavez Ravine before Dodger Stadium was built there, and I remember
watching Dodger Stadium being built. I used to bleed Dodger Blue way back when (50's-0's). Loved that team and their super star make up. Not so much anymore. Yup, I be an oldie.  ;D

Yeah, I remember that too along with when the Braves were in Boston and when Pearl Harbor was bombed.  Talk about old.

I remember changing allegiances from the NY Yankees (my father's team) to the Brooklyn Dodgers (where we lived) just because Joe Dimaggio retired.

I remember sneaking around to watch/listen to the 7th game of the 1955 World Series when Johnny Podres finally brought the Dodgers their long awaited World Championship against the dreaded Yankees. I was being punished for one of my many infractions :) and had been forbidden to watch the World Series.

I lived in L.A. back in the late 80s. Dodger Stadium is still, one of the best baseball stadiums in all of MLB.

I also remember going to Forbes Field in Pittsburgh in the early 60's when Walt Alston and his boys came in to town to play the Pirates. Watched Sandy Koufax do his magic.
When Pirate Hall of Famer Willie Stargell was once asked what it was like hitting against Koufax, he replied, "it was like trying to drink coffee with a fork."
