Ladies and Gents,
How do you guys clean your bags? Some spray bottle mixture? Soak in hot water? Hose?
I'm trying to clean up my 2 and 3 ball travel totes, and I just realized I've never cleaned a bag.
-
I don't think I've ever really cleaned a bowling bag. I suppose I would use something like Simple Green sprayed onto a rag. I'm not sure it really makes a whole heck of a lot of difference.
-
If it's too gross, I just get a new one haha.
-
For my two ball totes.....quick light bubble bath. For my wheeled bags 2:1 water:simple green then high pressure hose. WD40 on the bearings lol
-
Wait, we're supposed to clean our bags...? :o ??? Even when the baby powder spills out in it...? :-\ I thought we just rambled along as always, dirty bag & all. :(
-
I clean my bag with Axe body wash. :P

That right there is FUNNY!!!! Hahahahahaha

Can I ask why you need to clean a bowling bag?
-
I would try using a hand held steamer, wipe the run off with a damp towel. Or maybe some good foaming carpet spot cleaner, it might lift the dirt to the surface where you could wipe it off.

Moved, and they got soiled in the process. Whoops!
-
I was hoping you wouldn't say something about losing reaction due to oil residue in the bag. Lol
-
I just bought new bowling bags, but I had the same question regarding cleaning my tennis bag, which is of a similar material. I asked the store where I bought it, but they had no answer.
You might try contacting the manufacturer, to see what they recommend.
I guess my tennis bag tends to get dirtier, since it is sometimes used outside, where the bowling bags are not.

Rejuvenate the bag... LoL!! Hey Doom, try the dishwasher method for your bag, then use a simple green solution & the hot water bucket methods... ;)

Maybe THAT explains why my ball doesn't hook! Thanks, Mainzer! :P

I use Tuff Stuff....restores the original color to the bag...

Is that the kitty litter method you rave about? ???
-
Nope...kitty litter is for your balls...tuff stuff restores vinyl...makes the bags look like new...bowling and golf. Both can be found in most dollar stores...

How do you keep it from falling out of your underwear? :o ;D
-
Milo...you mix it with water and rub it in real good...Let it soak for 6 hours...shouldn't have a problem then...
