Ball Weight - 15# vs 14# - Question
« on: May 04, 2009, 05:32:59 AM »
I just as an expirement, tried a 14 Psycho, which was given to me by a friend. I threw it in league, where normally, I have problems opening up the lanes, because of carrydown and more oil in general than my other two leagues, and it was amazing how much more turn I could hook the ball, where my 15's were having probs. It seems as though I went to 14 (from my 15's) with no problem at all. Has anyone else tried using two different ball weights ! Just want your thoughts on the switching of weights, and its advantages and disadvantages. It seemed like I was just as accurate, but with more power.

throw it hard more hand because able to to get your hand around it more, rg is highest in 14 lbs, only drawback i dont think 14 lbs hit as hard as 15 lbs or 16 lbs, could be to light for some to throw your timing out of sync and such,
