lots of fun.  Bracket creep, ldog, rockbowler, doc hollywood, nicanor, and pchee2, myself, and a couple of other people(not from the site) were there.  bowled for a few hours then went out for lunch.

im sure someone else can give you a MUCH better recap.

ps bracket guess i didnt need that "extra 20%" on that 7-9 i left with the cobalt(along with the NUMEROUS 9 pins)!

As the Fonz stated everyone was there. We had over 10 bowlers total with some leaving a little early.  Wilbert showed up but didn't bowl.  We all drew names and bowled doubles switching lanes.  Everyone who showed up looked to be having a good time.  Lane conditions a little tough small area to score speed was the biggest factor.  Only a few games over 200 shot.  None by me but since I haven't picked up a bowling ball in over a year that was to be expected. On average for me I was about 15 pins down so wasn't too bad.  It was good to see pchee2 get out and bowl he hasn't picked up a ball in a about 3 years.  It was good to see Nicanor and his family and to finally meet some of the other guys from BR.

Mostly everyone went out for lunch and we talked about the old times on BR.

Looking forward to the next one.

Why can't the rest of you guys get out and have big get togethers like we do.  probably because you guys are too cheap.  In fact when we all pitched in to bowl and have lunch we always ended up having excessive money.

I hope I was missed, as I missed you guys, especially Pchee and Nic.  I really wanted to be there, and all the arrangements were made, plans made, and bags/balls packed, but then someone in the family called, and the only wise thing was to cancel.  Please forgive me, and I will hopefully be there next time, which I hope is soon.

Finally back in San Diego.  Only 8 hours from Fremont home.

What a tremendous trip.  It was great ge together with old friends and meeting new people.  Pchee2, Doc Hollywood, Rockbowler, Wilbur and Bracket creep bowled at other ball review gatherings and tournaments.  Fonz and Lawerence joined us this weekend and are great guys.  Great for bowling.

Its fairly obvious that some of us no longer shoot the big scores (like Bracket Creep did)but bowling in a setting with nothing on the line to lose or win, just makes a great place to socialize.

Saw Mill and his wife Vivian were sorely missed and leave us not to forget the famous Thong Princess. She will always be part of our Ballreview gatherings even when she is not there.  We hope Dave, Vivian and Colleen can make the next Ballreview gathering as well as all the others who were unable to attend this weekend.

The sport shot was a little difficult but is does give us an out for the sub 200 games that were thrown.

Dave, Doc, thank you for setting this gathering up this time and I think I'll be back up in October for a bike show in San Fransico.

Thanks again everybody, hope I didn't miss anyone likie Cynthia (my wife) Nick (my son and upcoming bowler) who had one of the 200's and Lori who is even a guest to bowling.  The management and employers at Cloverleaf were great also.

Sincerely,
Barry
