Just a random question does anyone know?
« on: January 11, 2008, 10:41:41 AM »
Maybe one of the Bruns guys or maybe Mr. Atwood could answer this question. About how long does it take a ball to get from the drawing board in the R & D dept. to the shelves at a pro shop. For the sake of argument let's say with a new cover stock and new weight block.

Is this new ball going to get approval from the PBA/USBC? If so, you can add a chunk of time on top of the R&D and Production periods.

I would think that if a company is going to take the time to do all the R &D they would get it approved first.
My follow up question to this is about how many balls need to be sold to turn a profit on a ball. Again just a random while I was thinking about it question.
