Not big on the drilling method, but making a ball spinner isn't that difficult. Especially when you find a place the does washer dryer repairs and you can get a good motor for $25 the rest isn't so hard. I guess what he did would be okay as well.

With the amount of my insurance co-pay and deductibles, it's just cheaper to go out and buy the "right" equipment!
