Question regarding Vise Compound Cleaner
« on: March 18, 2016, 06:04:59 AM »
For anyone who's tried the Vise Compound cleaner is that something similar to Motiv Power Gel Scuff? The description on the bottle sounds like it might be similar to the Scuff: "Removes 500 grit sand lines and minor blemishes. Made with organic stones which will not dissolve when used with water to achieve consistent results."

I plan on buying a bottle of the Vise bowling ball cleaner today since I've heard some good things about it and wanted to hear everyone's take on this before I buy the Compound.

The compound is not a cleaner, although its abrasive action will clean dirt off the ball.

The compound's purpose is to achieve a rough surface; I haven't tried it yet but its action is probably similar to Valentino's Resurrection, Motiv's Gel Scuff and Brunswick's Royal Compound

That was my impression as well about it. I'll order a bottle today with the regular cleaner and see how it works. Love the Motic Gel Scuff but since I'm almost out of it I wanted to try something different.
