I don't think the Animal was a pearl (or particle pearl).  It was a solid particle, I believe I remember someone saying a light-load of large particles.  It did have a semi-shiny compound finish, unlike most heavy oil balls.

I'd have to say the Sidewinder after getting a chance to throw it. The Secret Agent has particle in it and is pretty sweet as well.

The Animal was great but is not on the market any longer.

most league players may never see enough oil to fully utilize the benefits of a high-load particle ball. my brunswick mammoth has seen plenty of oil at pba regionals----there have been flare rings on half of the ball many times. a low load particle ball like the sidewinder may be a better option for a typical league.

so... the mammoth is tha BALL PARTICLE??? cuz is very dificult patterm with a lot of oil and carrydown...

Animal was not light loaded large particle, it was a heavy loaded large particle ball. The animal was a Beast in its time, just as the columbia arc and roll were. The Rule GP2 was another Beast and I have yet to use anything stronger. The Robo rule was awsome because it gave alot of backend for the type of ball. The pearl particle balls are ok, but they are to goffy in reaction once you change the surface and try to get it back to box. Always having to be a compounded finish or something.

Also the BVP Mammoth is probly one of the strongest particle balls on the market. I think if they tossed that cover to mo and let him take his particles to the cover he would probly make the most hookingest ball of all time for oil.

I would think something from Lane Masters since they use particle on a lot of their equipment.

Best particle ball ever would be the Track Animal.  Of course that's my opinion but that ANIMAL was an awesome ball!
