Best Bowling Pins?

Any opinions on which company makes the best bowling pins?

Helping an owner to buy pins for an alley.

Why?  Do you intend only to bowl in houses that carry your preferred brand of pin?  Perhaps you should check out thread titled "Is bowling too complicated".  Your question falls right in line with that thread.

Haha, you seem to be quite the bitter, drama seeking cynic.  Let's completely ignore what the guy said and try to create an argument out of it.  Regardless of what MI 2 AZ pointed out, assuming something negative to start an argument isn't really the best way to go.

As of a year ago, they did.  Our center got them last season and they are just now starting to get a bit livelier, but still not as much as the old wood pins.  A lot more 7-10's, 5-7's and corner pins were being seen by the leagues with the Twisters.

The center bought them because they are supposed to last much longer than the wood pins, so for economical reasons, they should be considered.  For the bowlers, they may prefer something else.

I hated those things. Sounded horrible, carry sucked. But the longer life I can see why centers would go with them. I suppose after a couple years they would be great to bowl on though.

Yes, they are still made and handled through Bowltech.  http://www.bowltech.net/twister/

IIRC, Ebonite is or was handling US distribution of them through their direct sales division.

Yes, let's also assume people never learn, change, or move on, but you're correct, nearly all of my posts years ago were worthless, idiotic, ridiculous, and just plain stupid.  I'd actually like to be a positive contributing member of this site now, and try to answer people's questions instead of look for the next victim to verbally skewer, no point in two of us doing it.
