List the balls you think are best for Lite to Dry lane ball you have seen....

-
+1 to the Taboo Spare.
-
Although no longer available, the Lane Masters Hornet is still the best dry lane ball I have ever used.
-
Lane #1 Chainsaw or Chainsaw S.O.S.
-
slingshot or green pearl avalanche
-
Lane 1 blood diamond - which is similar to XXXL is available still.
-
Blue/Green Centaur
Slingshot
Avalanche Pearl Urethane
Tropical Breeze
-
Still love my Lane #1 Chainsaw, and below that is a Rico drilled RG Grenade.
-
Guess it depends all on your style... The way I throw, I've had some great dry lane scores with my Reign... & on the desert at a Pin Stripes my original X-Factor, LoL!! 2 balls that supposedly aren't for the dry... Maybe I throw like PDW...? Maybe Axe Welder, Seven Pin & Doom can chime in on that assessment of myself... ;) ;D 8)

Pike, your ball doesn't read dry like sevenpin's or my release does. I've seen your stuff roll out on oil. On dry, I can hardly imagine! :)

That's a compliment & yes like PDW then...? :-\ :D

How can I be nice about this...
Yeah, sure. If Pete had like 2 strokes, I could see it. :P
-
Roto Grip Mars is my favorite for dry lanes.
-
The natural line is great on dry..
-
Taboo spare, I also like my Columbia Classic U2.(4000 grit & polished)The best resin ball I've had for dry is the Motiv Recon Pearl.
-
Blue /Green Centaur
XXXL
Sonic-X Solid
Hey Milo! How did you have your Hornet drilled?
-
Pin above bridge, GC in palm. Not sure what the angles are. My PAP is 5 over 0 up/down.
I still have and use it.
Blue /Green Centaur

Thanks, Dude! I have one in mothballs somewhere. I will have to pull it out and give it whirl!
-
It's a great ball on those days when the conditions are dry or you are faced with a really short pattern. Very durable, but a real bear to resurface.

I had a lot of success with my Dark Star drilled pin next to ring finger, CG in palm. Very clean through front. The other ball I really liked was the Brunswick Damage.....

1 - Morich Mojave
2 - Desert Heat
3 - Blue/Green Centaur

Lane Masters Hornet
MoRich Mojave
I'd like to see Mo Pinel and Phil Cardinale come out with a new Radical ball that is similar to the Mojave: Weak asymmetric with a PK17 coverstock, and maybe a step up ball: Same core with PK18. If you build it, I will buy ;)
-
light/burn chrome and yellow groove, true dry straight flush.

Me too! Something designed to get thru true toasted heads...preferably in the black colors they've been using.
-
I think its relative to the bowler and style. I prefer something polished but not super weak. Ive found it allows me to get really deep and still get plenty of drive and carry down lane.
-
I have a Visionary Blue Green Centaur that is great on dry lanes. The best ever dry lane ball for me was the Columbia 300 Pearl Tremor.
