Best looking ball on the market
« on: November 19, 2007, 11:57:18 AM »
Okay I would like to know your opinion on the best looking ball on the market. Not performance, just looks. I don't care if you hate the ball I just would like to know what you think is the best looking ball on the market and why.

Mine is the Hole Finder Pearl by Banger and the Black Widow Pearl by Hammer.

The darker-colored Shift balls I've seen are really nice looking.  Going way back in the day here to circa 1996, the original Storm Firestorm was an awesome looking piece (and a great ball -- my mom shot a 300 with it back then).

On the other hand, my mostly-yellow Awesome Revs is the ugliest ball I've ever owned, and in my opinion one of the ugliest ever made.  Good thing it's one of the best-performing balls I've ever used!

From the current balls, the BW Pearl really looks pretty, and the LevRG is... distinctive. The Rampage is also a nice piece, as well as the Rival.

Some balls are basically pretty, but it depends on the indivual ball - e. g. the original Infernos. The orange/smoke color was nice, also a good match for the ball's name, but I have only seen 2 or 3 specimen that really lived up to the description "pretty". Most looked rather ugly and dull.

From antique balls, I must say I like the clean style of the Raging Red Fuze or Reaction Rip - single, bright color pearl balls. Very simple, but als stylish and elegant.

The Attitude Shift, the Roto-Grip Epic Quest and the Epic Battle.

I also have to say, that the Radical is very good looking as well, the Radical logo is unfortunately one of the ugliest Inferno logos. Radical with the Fury logo for example would be much better. But for me, any dull ball will catch my eye. There's something about matte finishes for me.
