hehe... that video... I had a Columbia Super Beast I could do that with and it wasn't supposed to.
I have to throw in a Dyno-thane ball into the mix. Look into the Thing Lives. A ball perfect for the heavier oil conditions. I've heard it compared to the Ultimate Inferno, wlthough I don't know I have never thrown one of those.
The coverstock is excellent. Polishes easily and is very durable.
Best of luck,
Tony

So you think the triumph Tnt is a very good ball huh. Ive been hearing descent things about that ball.

I just love this question,..there is no "best biggest hooking ball on the market today",...one mans hook is another mans straight ball,..oil for you may be dry for me,..if my speed is slow, and yours is fast I can out hook you all day,..800 grit, 2000 polished, long oil, short oil, drill patterns, release, ball speed, revs,..everyone is different,..and every manufacture has a different hook rating scale or way to measure hook,...there is no answer.

Ric Clint is a convert! Love's this ball!
TRUE!!!
Ric Clint's in the house!
I can honestly say, and I've never ever said this about a ball that I can remember, but my TNT drilled 4 x 4 and sanded to 320-400 is the biggest hooking ball I've ever thrown! Yes, I know that sanded that low, even a plastic ball would hook... but on oil you've got to have a sanded ball... but this thing doesn't lose any energy EVEN WHEN SANDED... it's freaky.... so much backend even while sanded ... alot of people will agree with this!!!
I can't speak for everybody else's TNT, but mine is scary and I drilled it myself! And my THING LIVES is a very close 2nd (sanded to about 800 and drilled 5 x 4)!
I've bought so may so called Heavy Oil balls and Medium/Heavy Oil balls in the last 2 years just looking for something that actually hooked... and these 2 balls are monsters!
Why companies can't make decent Medium/Heavy Oil to Heavy Oil balls like these 2, who knows???!!!
Which AMF has always been known for strong hooking balls so it's actually natural to expect that they would be the one with the best Heavy Oil ball... just like the old Angle Evolution Tour used to be when it came out!
And Dyno-Thane's THING LIVES is not your average REACTIVE ball! It rolls too much like a Particle and hooks so much... and plus it's got that amazing SOAKER coverstock!!!

there is no one best ball, no one biggest hooking ball. period. end of story.
There are appropriate balls for YOUR RELEASE, ON A SPECIFIC OIL PATTERN!
No more story. At all. By any one.
Sorry, but that's a fact of bowling life.
