Davy,

If you read the bottom of the whole article (it is long), you'll see that they talk about the ball speed. I think muzzle velocity was like 400 feet per second.

I think I may also have some rounds of ammunition laying around in my garage. They would probably be more lethal shot out of that cannon than what I use them for.

yeah, but I put mine in misc-non bowling -seems like it was about two or three weeks back, but I've slept since then

I bet you still couldn't shoot a 300 with it....

But I bet the guy on the lane next to you couldn't shoot his average for fear of the sound or percussion. LOL

Imagine that going into the slide and then BOOM.  If you didn't have a heart attack you would probably yank the ball.
