Blueberry vs Inferno

What's the main difference between these two ball besides one bein a pearl and the other bein a solid? Thancks Mike

Do not have the inferno. but the bb I have 2 of.
I get a nice controlled arc to the pocket with both of them. One is set up for lighter medium oil and one heavier mediums. one polished one sanded. I like them a lot. They respond well to changes in coverstock. I seem to get more 10 pins kicked out with these than anything else, they do not sound to me like they hit any harder but they drive thru the pocket harder. I want an Emerald and a Cherry Bomb.

I will probably get yelled at here but I HEAR the inferno is a darn good ball...too just can't give you any opinions on it....

I too have not thrown either of them, so i couldn't possibly have any valuable input. Hopefully one of the people who has the opportunity to have thrown every ball known to man can chime in.

Honestly, I do have both and tested both.  But 98custom is looking for other inputs.  The Blueberry and the Inferno are almost in the same price category so which ball would you get for the first ball out of the bag on medium condition and also medium conditions with some carrydown?

Blueberry for both. Carrydown just means a slight line adjustment,IMO.

Thats ok ! Carrydown isnt really an issue now that I have sanded the polish off. At the most, it is a 2 board adjustment over a 3 game set. The polished Berry was at least a good 8 board movement to the right. Sort of down and in. Either way the ball is a killer! IMO, Learning how to throw the same ball on varying conditions is better than carrying around 8 different ones. A bit easier on the wallet too.

i haven't thrown the blueberry buzzsaw but it uses brunswicks powrkoil 18 reactive coverstock and lane #1's own core design. the brunswick inferno uses a new reactive coverstock called activator and a new core design. i have thrown this ball and it's GREAT.
