What's Your Prediction?

  During the 1969-70 season there was, 854 -300's  & 91-800's.
   
  During the 1979-80 season there was, 5,373-300's & 723-800's.

  During the 1989 -90 season there was, 12,766-300's & 2,628-800's.

  During the 1999-2000 season there was, 39,470-300's & 10,318-800's.

  During the 2009-10 season there will be,                -300's &               -800's

  Remember, this is just for each one of those seasons,and not per decade.How many are
 
 we going to have this season?

14,000 800's

Also needed with those numbers were the number fo sanctioned bowlers needed to shoot those numbers.

In 79-80 there were around 4.5 million men and 3.7 million women sanctioned bowlers.

This year it might be 2 million combined.

of course all of todays bowlers are superior athletes that are now making the extrodinary ordinary.

What's most disturbing about those numbers is the fact that in 1980 there were approximately 5 million league bowlers...now there are about 1.5 million.

So the number of honor scores goes up exponentially...while the number of total bowlers goes down.
