I know I am in the minority but I love my scream for the dry when I cant carry moving in.

i did not particularly care for the TB, it was a higher pin layout, which i have gone away from since then.
ended with a couple freeze-that matched up better with my game

Had both; prefer the Tropical, as the Scream's coverstock is too strong, even though it's on a weak core.

If you're speed dominant, you can use the Scream on light oil; otherwise, its better for medium-light to almost true medium oil.

The Tropical Breeze is for dry to light oil.
The Scream is for medium-light to medium oil.
They are more complementary than alternatives.

Also had both it just seems I had only had trouble in one center with the TBH bowled with one in Travel League every center but one got over/under with it , The scream I   started out with the first game. I never done that with the TB hybrid.

When my center becomes true toast (heads gone in addition to breakdown at the end of the pattern) even the tropical breeze won't lay off enough to stay right of 4th arrow.  Was thinking a deep freeze would be even weaker. Anyone have any experience with the deep freeze

From what I can tell from the specs, it is stronger than the TB: stronger cover, lower RG core, with larger differential. Heck, the stock Freeze Pearl needed medium oil for me.I use the TB solid, sometimes dull, sometimes polished in light oil. The DF uses the same coverstock as the regular Freezes, just a milder core.

FWIW BTM's recent review showed the Deep Freeze to be a better ball on medium oil than on light/dry oil, while it was still usable on light oil. I find the TB hardly usable on medium oil at all.

I suspect if the TB is too strong for your house's conditions for your release, that you might need to investigate balls like the New Blue Hammer or the Storm SuperNatural (more backend).

Shout all day long, the polished solid for me is smoother off the spot!
