Finally have my arsenal set...
« on: April 11, 2014, 09:35:16 AM »
First time I can recall I have an arsenal that I am completely happy with.  Suggestions or comments?

Storm Virtual Gravity Nano
Roto Grip Hyper Cell
Storm IQ Fusion
DV8 Reckless
DV8 Misfit

That is one hell of a medium-heavy oil arsenal.

Now, for the smoked heads / toast?

I'd fill it out a bit more......

Again, JMO.

As long as you're completely satisfied with it don't change a thing.  --  JohnP

For burnt lanes, I would recommend the Super Natural. I also use it for spares. Much more reliable for me, than my plastic spare ball and I can still throw it with decent results when lanes are toast.

I know a center where most bowlers don't bring shells for light/dry lanes. Most of the time, the center puts down enough oil for more than 6 games. The proshop even carries mostly mid level to high performance balls. So he might be seeing the same thing...

I actually bowl in 4 different centers.  My family owns 3 centers in 3 different towns and I bowl league on Monday nights in another house about 20 miles away.  Kind of a wide variety.  2 centers are wood lanes (1 shoot is dry and the other plays flat and ball just skids.  The other 2 centers are synthetic,  (1 is a lengthy pattern with quiet controllable back ends and the other is mid length and snappy back ends.

The VG Nano is the biggest breaking highest flaring ball I have.
Hyper cell seems like the perfect ball for me to combat carry down.
IQ Fusion - great starting ball for house shot at most houses
Reckless - Breaks late for me, lot of skid at through the heads.  Works when Fusion is too strong.

The misfit -  Works good for me on dryer shots.  I also have a regular Natural I pull out sometimes for dry lanes or when just struggling to find a spot.
