To mess up other bowlers?

I have a modern day solid urethane that is the best ball in my bag. It's not the first out of the bag, but when it does come out, I wonder why it's not the first all the time. I'm averaging just under 218 with 26 or 27 games this season.

Anyway, when the urethane does come out, high average bowler playing the track seem to suffer in carry. Some even worse, they get over under. Some have made comments about me using urethane.

For 4 weeks straight, I started noticing my opponents all had carry issues when I start using my blue. All would switch balls and moved in, or whatever, to later find their groove back.

I prefer to bowl and get out quick lol

Weak mental game shows quickly in most. I look for it in bowlers and add to it.

"Oh man we are bowling on the end pair, they always score bad"

"Yes this ball is fresh sanded at 800grit". Usually it's fresh 2000.

"This house,  or pair of lanes etc is known for 10pins".

"Do these approaches seem slicker then usual? "

Saying the house put out some type of sport pattern when it's the normal house shot also works well.

The power of suggestion is all it takes in many instances.

Get under that helmet.

Just one more note on the urethane issue.  As a guy who has carried urethane in my bag for the last 5 years with reasonable success from time to time, it has been my experience that whatever carrdown I create has a a bigger impact on the guy throwing urethane than the guys throwing resin beside him.
