"Nebraska toddler gets stuck inside claw vending machine (has video)

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities say a toddler has been reunited with his mother after employees found him playing inside a claw crane machine at a Nebraska bowling alley.

Lincoln police say a 24-year-old woman called 911 Monday afternoon because her 3-year-old son was missing from her apartment.

Employees at the bowling alley across the street meanwhile called police to say a small boy was playing with stuffed animals inside the coin-operated machine.

It was unclear how the boy ended up inside the claw crane machine. A representative from the vending machine company let him out and he was reunited with his mother a short time later. He was not hurt.

Police say the mother was not cited because she quickly reported that her son was missing and there were no indications of neglect."

Geesh.   :o

I'm guessing she was texting.......

I watched a mother texting (she was hot) at a Market place and didn't even see her daughter walk between the lines at the food court. My cousin and I were watching this 3 y/o stroll by everyone and some people were looking around for her mother. It wasn't even 10 seconds when the mother realized she lost her kid!!!

My cousin, a detective, gave her some lip but I didn't know what she said to her....I didn't want to lose my spot in the line..... ;)

What kind of lip? If you catch my drift.

GT/ GT, thanks for the post. It makes you wonder.

At the 2013 Masters at Carolier Lanes, a woman brought a 1-2 year toddler to the tournament on Saturday morning. She sat with her infant in the first row of spectators who were watching the match between Brian Kretzer and Mike Machuga. The toddler starting crying which bothered Kretzer (you certainly cannot blame him). A tournament official eventually ushered the woman and her toddler away from the competition. I am not sure if the woman was ordered out of the entire building.

But you really have to wonder sometime what goes through the mind of parents.
