Bowling this summer?

If so, what are you bowling in?  PBA league?  Regular old league?

Personally, I'm bowling in a Vegas league and I'm VERY excited.  The team is going to be me, my Aunt and Uncle, and my Mom.  I'm excited because my Aunt and Uncle are VERY good bowlers (Curt Aemisegger, look him up on bowl.com if you like) and it will be a NICE change from my kinda crappy normal team.  (We're finishing dead last...it's a team with relatives from my wife's side, and I'm really the only one who takes it seriously.)  I actually had to run the numbers and make sure that we came in under the max entering average.

I'm bowling a PBA experience league. Same one I bowled last summer.
With Chet Rogers (NW Region exemption next season), Dave Husted (need I say anything?), and Corey Husted (Dave's son).

These three have been unbelievable in working with us hacks in reading the lane conditions, playing what the condition brings, and generally supportive.

I still have a recap hanging right next to my desk from last year's league. One game, I beat Dave 207-154. I'm still proud of that.

Since I can finally bowl in senior leagues I'm bowling in a pba experience league,  a scratch sport shot league, and many tournaments.

Probably going to be the first summer since 2004 that I won't bowl a summer league.  Gas is too expensive (just to make jls happy!).  Really just a little burnt out.  Have bowled the same summer league since 2004 and most people are too stand-offish.....kind of defeats the purpose of social bowling!

I'll take the league fees and put into weekend practice!

I'll be bowling a PBA Experience league on Wednesdays.

If I can find a third, I will bowl with my son, who will be home from college, in a mixed scratch trios league (THS).  He and I have bowled in this league the past four summers.  This may be my last chance to bowl league with him, since he'll graduate next year, and who knows where he'll end up?

Probably not.  As Scott already stated, burn out sets in this time of the year.

Besides, when we only get a few months without snow cover, why spend it in a bowling center?

Cutting back from my 4 league winter schedule to 1 PBA Exp league this summer.  I will never do the 4 league thing again.  Burned out...

So, true!!!  Golf course and green grass are my preference.

i bowled at the shammy with curt a few years back. he is friends with lou ivancik whom i go with. nice guy.
