Poor lighting affect your bowling game?
« on: July 01, 2005, 03:36:12 PM »
It may sound king of weird to you folks, but I don't seem to bowl well when the lanes are dimly lit.  Maybe my eyes have to work harder to focus on a target or something.

Perhaps its a psychological thing.  Bright light tends to produce positive vibes, and thus - better shots.

Anyone else notice this at all?

I use Glow Bowling to pratice my focus.
So much for the dimly lit lanes.

I don't know- I've shot a 290 game in moonlight bowling, so I don't think the lack of lighting affected my game too much there. I bowl in two different wood houses during the fall, one has average lighting and another has poor lighting and I've been able to adjust fine.
