As far as me being excited, my emotions are my achilles heel. If I don't keep them in check, they can affect my game more than any tough lane condition. I'm doing all I can do to stay focused.

Imagine how fried you'd be after 5 counts in 2 consecutive 10th frames.  My pin count avg. in the 10th right now is hovering around 5.3... Look for that to get better in the next game....

I enjoy B-Nicks videos too. I just wonder about the purpose of this video and the reference to Johnny "League Bowler"..? It just seems to me that he wants to slam league bowlers who bowl on THS.

Maybe I'm over analyzing it, but maybe I'm not. So, I was just stating my opinion about each of their games.

I'm not saying that Nick is a bad bowler, but I'm pointing out that in todays world, many of the "so called good bowlers" are just "wingers" looking for dry boards..!! I also think JLB has some deficiencies, but his form is much better than B-Nicks. =:^D

You can't see his USERNAME is JONNY LEAGUE BOWLER. J L B -- Jon L. Brandon -- Weird huh!

Take this as contructive criticism in the deficiencies of your brain.

Well, to be perfectly blunt, neither of these guys were expecting critique in this thread. It is a good natured, more-fun-than-anything grudge match between the bowlers for bowling dominance in their area! Nick has dozens of videos on his website that you are free to e-mail him, giving Nick your Gold-level coaching observations.

Brunswick and Lane #1: there is no other. Well... maybe a few Storms... and a One. Did I mention Roto Grip yet?

I don't think Nick would be staffing if he was a "bad bowler". I think that speaks volumes.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA

I actually got the nickname from some of the Regional guys while bowling in the PBA West Region. Everyone knew my initials and it just kind of came out of that. Besides, everyone is a league bowler, I just have my goals a little higher than most.

In fact, every year since I joined the PBA, my avg. in league has gone down, while my avg. in Regionals has gone up. Frustrating at times getting my a** handed to me in league, but I tend to brush it off and know that often times the better bowler doesn't always win.

I don't buy much of what T-God says in general, but I think he's dead on on his assessment of Nick's game.  Every one can use a fresh set of eyes when examining their game.  He may not have asked for advise, but I don't think T-God meant to belittle him.  Even the exempt PBA stars need coaches.  Maybe if Nick looks for constructive criticism, maybe he can attain that status one day.  I see more hit and jerk in Nick's swing than I used to.

The center we bowled in is about 5 miles from my center, yet I rarely ever bowl there. I notoriously struggle on slippery wood approaches, as I lose balance and leverage at the line. I've taken some nasty spills, twice in one tournament inuring my hip. Call it what you want, but my confidence is gone when I know that my footing is in jeopardy.

Never claimed I was superior, or even better than anyone. My stats in the regionals speak for themselves. Constant struggle to make the number, and I've done quite a bit to adapt. I've sought out help, and will continue to do so... just not from you.

Hey Chris,

Was using a Red Zone most of the time, Total for spares in the first 2 videos. In match 3, I switch to the Total and try to make something happen.

Watching the videos makes wish I hadn't been so tired.  It would have been fun to stay and watch.

B-Nick, I guess I was over thinking the situation a bit. It's just that when I first heard/saw that you were doing a video against "Johnny League Bowler", I never saw him in the forums, and thought you were going to slam league bowlers. My oversight.

But, I still think my critique of your game is pretty much right on. And, I can see your mental game is definitely better than Johnny's right now, at least on those conditions. =:^D

As far as mental games go, we both had chances in the 10th and both of us flopped. We'll see how the third game goes......

I'd love to bowl against JLB if he ever comes back to Hawaii...

I'd put a case of chocolate covered macadamias on the line.
