need help deciding on new balls
« on: March 14, 2010, 08:09:52 AM »
I'm looking to buy 3 new balls to replace my old ones. I recently just bought a storm virtual gravity, so at the moment, i don't need a big hooking ball. I'm looking to replace an Ebonite Black Ice (I have about 1000 games on it) and an Ebonite Clash most of all. What balls do you think are most comparable to those two that are relatively new that i could purchase? Also, as a third ball, what would be the best high end ball to buy that any of you have had lasting success with and the ball doesn't die? Thanks for any help.

Why not go with a Virtual Energy to go below the VG?  If you're looking to try Lane #1, I'd go with the Curve.  I have both the VE and Curve and each are excellent choices IMO.

Agreed! I love my Pure Swing. I'm a tweener, theres a few strokers in my league and a cranker with it as well. All of us are experiencing success with our Pure Swings.

If you want something that wont die after 50 games, go VISIONARY!!!!  Their covers are versatile and dont soak oil near as quickly as other companies if at all.  You could drill an SS Ogre to replace the Black Ice and a Blurple Ogre or even Gladiator Pearl to replace the Clash.  Their stuff is awesome and their customer service is second to nobody.
