Can you make your own ball?
« on: November 13, 2005, 08:14:46 AM »
Hi. Is it possible to make your own ball? Isn't it just to make a form of a ball and fill it with the stuff you use for plugging?

Another cool thing would to take a spare ball, like the white ball from big B and drill holes right through it and then fill them with clear plug mass.

You're kidding, right?  Why would you want to?  Seriously, why reinvent the wheel?  If you are serious about improving on your bowling skills, you would be better off to stick with proven technology as you continue bowling.  On the other hand, if you are just into it for a lark, then why the he11 not if you have access to the right equipment to get it round.  Probably would not be legal for league or tournament use though.
