Building a new arsenal
« on: October 03, 2018, 09:09:08 PM »
Hey guys, I’m a lower rev lower speed stroker. I’m switching from 16 to 15 pound and am building an 6 ball arsenal off a Storm Drive. I bowl mostly on sport shots. I want to stick mostly with storm and roto grip, but am open to other brands. Any suggestions?

Need to hurry up and get yourself a Marvel Pearl before they disappear as that is a great pearl for flat patterns.  Also would recommend an IQ Tour solid for sport shots.  On the Roto side the Hustle Ink is great for lower volume shots and the Idol is great for fresh heavier shots.  Just throwing out the ball I have or have seen.  Also heard the Hy-Road Nano is good for fresh sports pattern as well.

Good recommendations above; For the longer, heavier stuff the Sure Lock, or the new Physis would be a good option. On the Roto side, I’ve seen great results with the Idol (Ball is special).

Here’s your very good suggestions to start you with that will cover the sport patterns you bowl on. Good luck.

Good recommendations.  As another lower rev guy playing mostly sport shots I would also vote for Marvel Pearl, IQ Tour.  I had some good luck with Phase 2 also, but kind of lost my look with it.  Hyroad nano is better now for me.   I tried to get Hustle Ink, but couldn't.    Also, I would add a urethane.  I have made money with a pitch blue on shorter patterns, but it may be hard to find.  Lots of good urethane out just dont go for the biggest hooking ones.
