Title: chart for weight holes?
Post by: imjouster on December 08, 2005, 04:15:50 PM
Trying to find the chart that some company has.  tells you the diameter and depth of the hole and exactly how much weight is being taken out of the ball.  can't think of how to find it in the archives, and it wasn't in the unofficial FAQ so figured i'd ask here.  Think I could get some help please???  Thanks

Brunswick has some x-hole recommendations on their drilling sheets, they are downloadable on their website. I have never seen a chart, but I guess that taking out 1" with a 1" wide drill bit is about one ounce in weight (note that besides the x-hole also thumb and finger holes can be used for weight distribution).

THANK YOU.  I'm pretty sure that the Jayhawk one is the one I was thinking about.  But the Buddies one is easier to get too and everything So I'll probably start using it.  I realize that due to core densities and the like that there is no such thing as an exact measurement.  just phrased it wrong.  But you guys got the Idea,  Thanks.
