Title: Coaching - High School or University - Scoring App
Post by: Dakota1 on July 06, 2022, 01:05:29 PM
Hi Fellow Coaches - I am now interested in taking my high school coaching to the next level.  My desire is to use a University level score recording app.  One of my athletes attends Quincy University in Illinois. She is a bowler in the program.  The university coach uses an app called "BowlSheet." I have downloaded the app at a cost $39.00.  I'm going to use it during my summer league to see how it works.  I think it may give me a competitive advantage and help me teach the young athletes more about the game.  Any thoughts or other app's you might recommend?  Thank you - Coach Denny O'Neill, Gold Level ABE

Tenpin Toolkit well worth looking into. Good free version however the full app has now become a yearly subscription. Still the free version can help most bowlers especially targeting and angles section.

CMV (coach my video) probably the best free video app for iPad. You may use other more coaching style apps but for a free app I’m amazed with the tools section.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try” bowlsheet”but it truly seems the most complete app on the market. I would love to give it a go but the price for an app that you cannot “try before you buy” seems a risky purchase.
