Are the different slide soles expensive ? How many comes with a purchase of new shoes. Thanks

Depends on your definition of expensive and which shoe you're talking about. Dexter has SST6 and SST9 with the BOA system. The 9s are more expensive and the soles are more expensive than the SST6.
If you look at the shoes on a website like Buddies, they list what soles come in the box

The BOA Color Shifts are THE 9's, and the slide soles are fairly pricey. All that comes in the box is what will fit on the shoe, which is the 8 sole and 5 heel, which is the most common pairing in their estimation. There's no change to the heels, so they're the same as they always were, but the soles obviously have been changed, so that's really the biggest expense if you want to change them. They're also sized to fit the shoe as well, so you'll have to reference a size chart to make sure you get the correct size of sole for the shoe.

Soles are fairly expensive, but mine have lasted a long time from my original The 9s and I have moved them over to my new 9 BOA's
One side note though, I did have to switch my nonslide sole off my old 9s to my new 9 BOA's because the toe marked the approaches really badly on my new pair. I'm going to email Dexter about it, may just be a bad toe cap, but it is absolutely not useable for a toe dragger as is. Otherwise the 9s are super comfortable and I really like the BOA system.

So if I need a slide sole when its to slick or another if I'm sticking what dollar amount would I be looking for 2 additional ones. Just wondering if its worth it. Thanks for the input from everyone.

$30ish for the soles, heels are the same price as always. However, both the shoes and soles last quite a bit longer than they used to. On old pairs, the velcro would always let loose in the front and the front of the sole would start coming loose and wouldn't stick anymore. The sole I'm using right now is 4 years old and there's just a little rub on the toe cap.

Just made the purchase today first pair in a about 4 years. Hope these last just as long. Thanks for all the informative insight on the shoes.
