Can youth bowlers even accept such compensation?

By the way, I'm from PA since you keep asking.  And like others have said, sponsors want someone capable of returning an investment, not someone looking for a handout that has less than a 10% chance of breaking even.  I'd be interested in KWBOWLING846's report.

Really? That wasn't evident by your complete butchering of the english language. I would have thought 11 or 12. Maybe 13.

Oh and I was in Pennsylvania last weekend. Does that count? Are you from Pennsylvania?

So at age 14 you want a sponsor....Well you have them...its called parents....If they think you have a chance of being a great one they would be willing to do what ever it takes to help you reach that goal.

A sponsor wants a guy who is ready NOW and can make money NOW.  They want a horse that can win them money, not one that is going to spend alot of money to learn and is not ready.

You need to do this on your own till you can come up with a way to promote yourself and show potential sponsors that you can make them money.

Players who don't make money, get dropped real fast...

FYI... bowlers(pba) dont make that much money unless there winning on weekly/monthly basis

ryan24: I admire the fact that you know what you want as far as a sponsorship. However you are going about this in the wrong way. I've learned that through the years the best way to go about things is through study, observation and asking the right questions.

When you've wanted money through your life from your parents, did you state your need in this way:

"I want 10 dollars." or "I need 10 dollars."

When the way to go about things is in this manner:

"What can I do for you to earn 10 dollars?" or "How I may I earn 10 dollars?"

So to me, if you want a sponsorship in any way shape or form, you need to ask better questions. Are there any particular professional bowlers in your area that you see on a consistent basis? Find a way to interview them and ask questions about how they went about things to obtain their goals.

Good luck in your sponsorship wishes and keep us posted on your progress.
