Did anyone see dumb-ass Bush on T.V. today?
« on: September 15, 2006, 12:50:49 PM »
I hate to be so blatant with the topic title, but I almost threw up watching him trying to answer world and local questions from the media. I understand some of my fellow members here are strong Bush supporters....and thats your perrogative, but you have to admit, everytime he was ask a question....he never answered it. Instead, choosing to use stories, and movies to be synonymous and paralled to whats is going on in the world. We have 2 more years of this sh*t. It only gets worse, by 2008 this country will be im pure hell.----Earl

BigpoppaT I have no problem with your opinion.  The problem I have is your response about being a moderate.  I'm sorry but you don't sound like a moderate at all!

Yes 9/11 dropped on Bush watch.  However IRAQ was his call so don't give him a pass because of IRAQ.  That's on him!

Also to say that he has not done a bad job in MY OPINION is a joke.  I personally feel that he is the worst president this country has ever had.

I feel McCain would have done a far better job then Bush could ever dream about.

I'd have to agree.  It was amazing a Democrat would pass NAFTA, as it is a Republican ideal.  The whole globalization thing....it's a Republican ideal.  I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but we you pointed out Clinton was very moderate.  NAFTA and the spur in globalization by Clinton was a republican ideal that Clinton agreed with or compromised on.

For instance, NAFTA is what makes it even more affordable for Brunswick to make balls in Mexico.  No import tax!  This is a business and hence a Republican ideal.  This makes Brunswick a more profitable company and while some people lost their jobs, other jobs were created and investors in the company, which far outnumber the laid off employees, benefit for a net plus in social benefit.  But people are also displaced so it's a double edged sword.

Of course this is lame to you because your a republican.  I'm sorry but even the republican party is turning on Bush.

Does Bush know what a VETO is?  This country would have been in better shape if McCain was in office.

That's too low.. theres no reason to make fun of someone because of their political party. There are many decisions in decieding on what party your going to support.. and you might not know why.

I know many Catholics who are only Republician because of Abortion.. so how do you know who your making fun of?

So.. good advice.. shut up.

This is true.  I know a couple of very wealthy people who are republican because of the tax breaks.

That's so sad too that they would mortgage everything else for such an issue.  Especially an issue they will never win.  It's too bad the church has been hijacked by these extremists and use it as a political pulpit.

I'm a little deeper I guess and I need an array of issues and choices to affect my decisions.

I guess what I'm saying is if someone makes their choice based on a single, narrow issue like that, they're probably worth making fun of as they are shallow, narrow and most likely "simple folk".

This is so true and for those that want to argue it do some actual research on it.  NAFTA probably could have worked better if they would set a large tax on any company moving to Mexico.

Listen I know your a republican and want to defend Bush.  I'm ok with that even though I feel he has hurt our economy and country.  However to say that Clinton was a worse president than Bush is ridiculous to say the least.

Chris why do you care who Clinton had sex with?  Are you a man?

Next you can't ay what Clinton would have done.  This is specualtion on your part and your last post about this just shows that you vote party only and don't really care about anything else but the war!

Did you know that Clinton and other presidents have to cut deals to get bills passed unless there partry controls both the house and senate?

Well this is what makes Bush so bad.  His party controlls everything.  He can get what  ever he wants passed without cutting deals.  Now he is having problems with his own party.  So now he is finally having problems getting things passed.

When your own party is going against you then you must be screwing up big time.

It's obvious that all you care about is a republican and war.  That's a real shame.

Now to say our economy is doing good is a joke.  That's why Ford just laid off more people.  That's just a small example.  I have been hearing every year since Bush got into office about how our economy is growing and doing good.

Listen the republicans are going to have to eat crow because of Bush.  Heck they don't even want him in there anymore. lol

BigPoppa....I dont know what he could have done differently...but the things that he has done...in my opinion amounts to nothing. What exactly did he inherit from the Clinton administration? It sure the hell isnt unemployment. As I recall...the same day Bush was declared President....the stock market fell considerably for the first time in years. You remember that?

Dot.com bubble burst, chief. Typical Bush hating liberal spew. Bush could find the cure for AIDs in his spare time, and you'd complain about it.

It's one thing to ridicule a sitting president during a time of war over bad decisions, but at least recognize their strong attributes so you don't look like a complete pessimistic jackass.

I'm a Bush supporter but I do agree with this. He admited it on national tv in his debate with Kerry. He doesn't care if the blue collar jobs go to other countries. He says "education" is the answer. This country was built on all types of jobs. I also don't understand why we don't tax the hell out of the companies that operate and import the goods into this country and why we don't lower buisiness tax for companies here.

I have never seen dumb A Bush on TV.

I've seen YOUR President Bush on TV.  And MY President Bush on TV.
The one that was elected  in the last two elections.  A process you participated in!  The one you support because you are in the most important war America has fought since the Civil WAr.

That guy I have seen.

Like all of MY presidents...he is not perfect.  I have seen so MANY of them not answer questions...and give the answer that suits their agenda...from Kennedy to Johnosn...to Nixon to Carter...to Reagan to the best at avoiding the subject and giving a speech Clinton(best politician I ever saw...so so President) and now to Bush!  Everyone of them...controls the meeting!  I like that.

The more effective they are at political part of their job...the better they control the meeting!

Agree with Nafta...NO...agree with no Tariffs...NO...I instead agree with Pat Buchanon and the intelligent principles devised by Alexander Hamilton from the early 1800s.

BUT...I support my President...and have not seen a dumb a.. one yet!  OH...I wasn't fond of that President Carter!

Oh the other thing I saw President Bush doing the other day was leading this country to safety!  I like that strong leadership.

NateNice...I saw your post....I see you read a little deeper than the other guy into these things....I almost thought you were saying....you were a "bigger man" or maybe a "better man"....  We have another guy that says that stuff.

It is interesting all the new users we have on this site who are NEW...have no profile and have similar views and are frankly ...a little bigger...a little smarter ....and a little better.  I keep thinking I've heard that phrasing before....hmmmmmmm?  I'm at a loss....Earl...I see you are pretty new also...no profile and have similar views too!  Gee...
