Pearl particle - phasing out?
« on: November 29, 2008, 11:36:42 AM »
I was talking to my driller and they told me that they thought we wouldn't see too many particle pearl ball anymore.  This saddens me because I think they are my favorite type of coverstock.

I haven't paid too much attention to the latest trends but looking around the shop it seems like there aren't any new particle pearls in the new crop of balls.

When are they really needed with today's covers?

We don't all have 400+ revs, some of us are quite speed dominant and strong covers are the only real choices we have if we want the ball to hook.

That is what Brunswick is for.
