Do Pearl Balls Soak Up LESS Oil?
« on: October 09, 2003, 03:00:53 AM »
Compared to dull balls, of course. Seems to me that the dull balls collect more oil than the pearl balls. Whether or not it soaks in is another matter. It certainly is easier to SEE the oil tracks on the dull ball which may or may not mean anything. What's your opinion?

I guess the only way to tell is to put a small measured amount of lane oil on the clean surface of a non-pearl and pearl ball at the same time, then watch and see what happens.  I too would suspect the pearl will not soak oil as well, but that's only an opinion, not fact.
