Driveway Strikes
« on: May 11, 2003, 01:04:04 AM »
As I backed my van out of the garage today, I heard a "THUMP-BUMP". As I got completely out of the garage across the driveway, my wife, who was waiting for me, hollers "Strike!!!". Seems that I had left my Track Champ on the garage floor after cleaning it and had run over it with the van and rolled it clear across the driveway into the flower bed. No permanant damage to the ball, thank goodness.

Anybody else ever get a strike in their driveway? By the way, it only knocked down two flowers, not ten so I guess it was not really a strike.

The guy that runs the pro shop at the place I bowl at saw a customer come driving in with his bowling bag dragging behind him caught on the tow hitch. He goes in the back way and gets a lane real quick then throws a couple of shots, then goes up to the front desk and tells them that the ball was damaged by the machinery in the back. The guy that runs the proshop says "did your bag get tore up back there too?" I about fell on the floor laughing.
