Mass Bias Positions?
« on: June 14, 2009, 05:26:11 PM »
I'm looking for some more understanding as to how the MB position effects ball motion, in comparison with each other. On the Dual Angle layout, the angle decides the position, in a range from your track, all the way past your VAL. Which by reading this: http://www.bowlingfans.com/jeff/ballreactionbasics.html I understand. But there's also a secondary (or primary depending on how you layout balls) measurement, that is based off of the PAP to MB position. Can both of these measurements be used in compliment of each other, do they somewhat fall hand in hand, or... I dunno, just looking for some insight.

Thanks

The dual angle technique exactly specifies the layout.  You can measure the PAP to MB distance, but if you change it you also change the angles you selected.  --  JohnP
