drugs and bowling?

Admit it, most of us do or have done drugs. Has anyone ever done drugs and went bowling? Has anyone ever done drugs and bowled league before?

I personally have never done drugs...and I think that this is a really stupid topic.......Why do you want to know anyways? Are you that bored at home? Go bowling lol.

actully I just got back from league and sucked hard. I don't have any drugs with me. I don't see the big deal since everyone thinks it's ok to drink alchohol and bowl. Sounds like a double standard to me.

i've seen high people bowl.. some funny stuff esp. when they slide half way down the lane.

Actually, it's a good topic.

Drugs and alcohol have wrecked quite a few talented bowler's careers.
Back in the 70s a lot of PBA players smoked weed and drank to excess.
A lot of amateurs did also. I'm sure it still gos on.
I went through 4 rounds of rehab. And have not done drugs since 1995.
Haven't had a drink of alcohol since January 2001.
If you need help get it.

My 2 cents here: I was married to an alcoholic/addict and I've had my own experiences with both without any addiction issues(thankfully); all that I will say on this subject is that:

Not a double standard at all...one substance is legal under the current laws and the other group of substances is not.  

While there may be some that have engaged in the use of controlled substances, the question becomes why it is a relevant discussion...it isn't as though the masses are going to search out a pusher to pursue a theory of improved performance.

a friend of mine bowled the adult junior doubles with me, im the junior, baked off his arse. it was funny. we had a good time, he shot like 620 and i sgot 650 something and we missed the cut by a mile. i dont do drugs, but i must say ive seen a few people on something bowling and it is entertaning.

I've drank a bit, but seriously never have and never will try drugs, and that combined with bowling is bad. I've got relatives and people I know that had drug problems and luckily they all got help and have been drug free for years now and seriously its the way to go.

I enjoy a couple of beers during league sometimes a captain coke, but rarely drink during a tournament. On the flip side, I sometimes take Advil before league/tournament, thats the only form of drug I do.

I've never done drugs of any kind, not counting prescription stuff.

I used to be able to have a beer once in a while when bowling, but since I've gone Atkins and lost 25 lb. I tend to swell with alcohol, and my fingers/thumb look like little Ball Park franks so I stick with water and Crystal Light now
