« on: March 15, 2004, 11:15:44 PM »
Hi, I am very bored so I'll give you this:
1) How much time passed since your start on bowling and your 200+ avg.
2) How much time to take one pin spare with an all star confidence.
3) How much time you have been bowling (Seriously)
I'll start:
1) Not yet
2) Not yet (Well the 10 only )
3) This month is my 1rst year anniversary

1) How much time passed since your start on bowling and your 200+ avg.
I started bowling when I was 4 - I'm 47. I started seriously when I was in college - when I was 16. I quit for 12 years in 1983. I've been back, and serious since 1995.  I booked 197 and 198 previously - last season was the first with 200+ averages - 202, 207, and 220. This year - 204-216-207 - same leagues.
2) How much time to take one pin spare with an all star confidence.
I rarely miss single pins. I might miss 2-3 a month, in 70-100 games a month. If I miss more, I'm bowling very badly. Now - more than single pins  - and splits - that's a different story.
3) How much time you have been bowling (Seriously)
I've been VERY serious the last 3-4 years. Bought my PWBA card in late 2001 - first full year as a pro was 2002 - when I earned the NW region rookie of the year award.

I've been looking on ebay for a cheap PDA that I can pick up to use the frames software. I'd love to analyze my stats next season.

1) I started to consitently average over 200 once I got out of junior leagues.  They never laid down a fresh shot for us so it was left overs from the night before and the morning junior squad.  I think all they did was buff the heads, but the backends were always weird.  That was almost 10 years ago now.
2) Actually about the same time as the 200...I got some small amount of coaching and worked on targeting spares and proper alignments.
3) Been bowling in leagues, etc. since 6th grade...that was in 88.  Truly seriously when I went to college in 94.
