Changing ball surface, by accident.
« on: November 10, 2006, 05:38:37 AM »
At my brothers pro shop, I was cleaning my Action Packed, with what I thought was a track cleaning solution, instead was polish.  My ball was so inconsistant, or mabey I was?

Today just before I bowled my traveling league, I scuffed it to normal, with a piece of scotch brite green pad, and the ball was like new.  The ball had about 10 board difference, and just couldnt believe the amount of hook it lost by just throwing a little polish on it.  I guess next time, I'll pay more attention to what I throw on a ball.  Anyone ever done this, and want to kick yourself in the butt?

No big deal, you just change it back. Changing surface is not taboo...
