If you were going to build an arsenal out of the two companies above, which one would you choose and why? The reason I'm asking is because I was involved in a conversation last nigh after league about which staff would you prefer to sign with if given the choice of both companies..

Own some of both and a little more partial to Brunswick family these days (match up better with their stuff for whatever reason). Both have some great balls though.
-
Out of those options, EBI - They're putting out some good stuff lately. Plus Indont have to leave the country to go to the plant and company I'm on staff with if I visited.

When Brunswick gets people together for testing they still go to Michigan. I really don't have a preference. Thrown a lot of Brunswick/DV8 and Motiv lately but got talked into a Paradox Black yesterday by my driller and I'm really liking the way it rolls.
If I got the chance to pick I'd probably go with EBI

Brunswick

It makes zero difference.

It really doesn't. Both have complete line ups. Only difference to me is Brunswick is maybe a little stronger on very high end of strong balls (with Radical, KingPin, etc) and Ebonite has a better selection of true urethane (Hammer) on the lower end plus only plastic balls with big cores on market currently.

Switched from Brunswick brands to Ebi brands almost two years ago now. No difference to me. Just 4 brands to choose from vs 3. Didn't like most of Radicals stuff so that made it more of a 2 brand option. Still was plenty to choose from.

I think you will find more asymmetric options with the Brunswick family (especially DV8) but otherwise I wouldn't think too hard about it. Both put out good stuff, and a lot of it to choose from. Like everybody else these days. Brand superiority is a thing of the past in bowling.
To me it's just whatever you can find at the best price.... which is usually Brunswick family stuff a few months after it's released.

It makes a HUGE difference. One company manufacturers their bowling balls in the USA (Ebonite) and one manufacturers their bowling balls in MEXICO (Brunswick).
While we can't buy everything in life made in the USA, when we can, we SHOULD.

I hope Santa brings you a shiny new soapbox for Christmas. Your current one must be worn out.
