ebonites bolwersMAP software coaching program

anyone have or use ebonites MAP software program for coaching

is it easy to use?

meet you objective?

gold or silver?

worth the $$

any info would be appreciated

i coach the high school team and am thinking of getting it, but want more info before the leap

Ebonite has a demo disk available that just pretty much shows features and how it works.  You should be able to get it from their site with no problems.  There are different levels of the program.  I am currently using Dartfish Trainer 2.5 and like it fairly well.  You can find it on the Dartfish site or at www.stormbowling.com.  Bowler's Map has less requirements to operate than Dartfish  and both do about the same job.

Is it as good a teaching tool as it sounds?

is it worth the grand it will cost me?

I know Susie Minshew uses it for instruction and had it at the Bronze conference I attended.  The demos she did were really good and you could easily see what see was trying to demostrate.  It just depends on how much you think you will use it.

FWIW, while I was working in the shop last night, the shop owner, who also does quite a bit of instruction (Silver level), said he is getting ready to purchase the Ebonite coaching software.  I was actually a bit surprised that he is getting ready to make the significant expenditure on that software, considering he just recently (last May) bought the shop from the previous owner and has been living hand-to-mouth, so to speak, getting some positive cash flow going.  Obviously, he feels that it will help him in the long run.
