Equation to find matched number of a bowler

If you've ever heard people talk about matched, rev dominant or speed dominant bowlers, this article I have written of will help define it. What I have come up with serves to help define bowlers in a new way. Read if interested and feedback is welcome. Please let me know if I can explain anything better.

Are you sure about the formula  x=.04847rs  ?

200 revs, 14 mph means I would have to really slow down or drop revs to get to 1.

If I keep my revs at 200, I would have to drop down to a fraction of a mile.  Or if I keep my speed, my revs would have to be between 1-2 revs.  Not sure if I can do that.

Or my calculator is not working correctly.

I think that your calculations might be wrong. I recommend using mathway.com because it is easy to see what you are putting in. If you were to keep your speed, you would have to increase revs to 287, and if you kept rpm, would have to lower speed to about 9 mph, which would be difficult.

My eyes kind of glazed over looking at that, But it kind of reminds me of the USBC release ratio calculation for some reason.

Very sorry if I caused you any confusion. That particular formula should be over S, not times S. It would be x=(0.04878r)/s

Yes, I have found a mistake in the article. when I posted it from my document, it changed the formulas. in other words, it got rid of the fractions, which is why you are getting different answers. I have edited it and fixed it.

The equations in the pdf version are messed up, they are not correct. I have corrected them in the post of the article. Here they are for safe measure

I would use the speed as displayed on score screen, the one picked up by the speedometer downlane. So use speed at the pins. At least thats how I did it.
