Best pro shop in northeast? Ny/pa
« on: February 13, 2016, 11:44:33 AM »
I live in new York. Near elmira. Saw the post about the best in South East so I figured I'd get everyone's opinion on the best in the north east where I am as I'm not 100% confident in the driller I've been going to. I'm looking for someone in the area near me. May drive as far as binghamton or rochester which are about 1 1/2 hours from me. Not to familiar with pa but if there's someone that's within 1 1/2 hour from me there I would go there too.

Pavlinko's Pro shops, they have 6 locations all around South Eastern Pa, South Jersey & Baltimore.

Pavlinkos location in Philly is permanently closed (the center it was located in closed.)  However some of their locations in New Jersey and Maryland are still open.

Another vote here for Marty Fichera at G&S Proshop in Lakeview Lanes in Liverpool. Simply the best.

Won't be of much help to you in Elmira but, if you are in Philly Burb area and looking for a good driller go see Yvette at In the Pocket at Facenda Whitticar lanes. IMO she is best in this area.  Great fit, extremely knowledgeable, she will do everything she can to make sure you get the right ball, right layout and right fit.

Nicest person you can imagine, but I disagree with this assessment.  I would never get another piece of equipment drilled there.  It is the closest place to my house, but I drive an hour to BowlerX to get our equipment drilled.  I stop in often and pick up things I need, but I won't have a ball drilled there again.
Current bag:

Radical Squatch hybrid

Cheech, between Chris bRian and Brad, which is the best? I've been to theiron shop not in clover. And I've talked to Brad and Brian is always there, but i never had anything drilled there. I did buy a couple balls from there and take them else where. Are they all really good? I went to bowlers world in Rochester as well, didn't like the fit.

they are all great. they know theyre stuff, fit and layout well and hit their lines. Brad and Brian are in the Rochester HOF and Chris will be there in the future. Ive had all 3 of them layout and drill my stuff for 15 years
