PBA Players Championship telecast
« on: February 12, 2017, 02:16:32 PM »
Anyone besides me got a little tired of the 1..2..3 rah rah chanting? Also, it was pretty surprising to see Belmo not get one ball to flush the pocket all match, the new Timeless looks like it has a ton of length and carries the off hits really well...then again it could just be the product of Belmo's 600+ rev rate. lol Looks like it'd be a great later block or a nice league condition ball for us lower rev guys. Guess I'll have to drill one out and see for myself!

Oil gets replaced on the lane. Topography isn't so easy to fix.

Maybe they should use more oil up front, or surfaces that are not so high in friction

An early match of Mark Roth 1975.  You gotta love the color commentator--I believe it is Dick Webber.....after Roth's 7th frame shot he says "He just cranked the living daylights out of that ball" .  If they used a center like that now, this weeks finalists wouldn't be able to move way left like they did this week.

I didn't even notice the chanting. I was too busy enjoying the matches and rest of the telecast.
BUT, there is a segment that I really hate and that's the opening titles when Belmo screams, Ciminelli screams, Rash screams, etc. Enough with the screaming already! If I wanted to hear screaming I'd go down to the basement with a basket of lotion...

I mean, uh, never mind that last part.  :o
