Ever had a near perfect night turn bad?

First of all, my CZ Red Pin is an absolute monster.  Although my Smokin and Strike Zone are both good balls, I haven't been able to use them much because they need fit adjustments.  Hadn't bowled much since January, so coming right into three leagues a week has put my hand through some changes.  My CZ has worked so well though that I don't need the other two.

My second league on Tuesday nights is still suffering from my shoulder being weak from the dislocation, I'm still not being able to keep the strength up through the set.  However, my first league on Tuesday and my other league on Thursday are doing great.  Kinda.  Threw the ball great on Tuesday, shot 674.  Had a few carry issues (7's and 9's, and one blaster 10), but threw the ball very well.  Same house Thursday night, and it started off great.  I was throwing the ball better, and started with the front 4.  I shuffle a little when I start my approach while I'm working my thumb around to get a good fit, then I fall into my normal 4 step approach.  In the 5th, when I started my approach, my thumb was too deep and I knew I was gonna stick.  Didn't back off, and yes, I stuck.  Split.  Still worried about it the next frame, so I dumped it; washout.  Got it back together with a double, then stuck in the 9th for a split, and still worried again, left another split in the 10th for 194.

Next game I got it back together, went strike, spare (it was a 8 or 9 or something ridiculous, it was a good shot) then 5 in a row.  Then I caught track burn on the left lane.  Split in the 8th.  Spared the 9th (4 pin) then back to the left lane, moved THREE boards left and threw at the same target, but must have overlapped someone else's track (there were guys throwing deeper than I was) and left the same split for 211.

Last game was insane.  Moved 2 boards further left for my first shot in the last game, struck.  Spared the 2nd, then again hit burn in the 3rd on what I honestly thought was a better shot than I threw in the first, left my 3rd 4-6-7 in 6 frames.  Next frame I found track burn on the RIGHT lane for another split.  Moved further left on both lanes, struck twice, then everything came unglued.  Had a couple more splits and spares and doubled in the 10th for 170-something.  In 13 frames after not moving a single board all night, I moved 12 boards left on the left lane, and 7 left on the right lane.  It wouldn't have been so frustrating and I would have paid more attention to where other people were playing if I wasn't throwing the ball so freakin good.  I dead flushed every ball that I wasn't having grip or slide issues on, and would have dead flushed most of those splits if the track burn hadn't showed up so quick.  Anyone else have a night where they were throwing the ball like 750+ and ended up with 577?
