I really need help on this one. Ok so i have 4 step approach and my feet and ball are getting really fast. My father and grandfather have been trying to help me get straightened out but i get such a bad attitude. they keep saying that i need to to learn to hit my mark(i know i really do its crucial.) and they keep telling me my backswing is above my head but i dont know how to fix it because i dont even realize it...it feels like my backswing is real low. cant explain it. also i think i have a problem becuz i dont want to listen to them but like if my friends or something are tying to help me i listen and do what they say but when my father and grandfather try to help me i wont listen. I really dont know what to do but i really want to do better and hopefully excell. truthfully i dont know how i can almost avg 170 and not hit a mark yet.

You're going to have to grow up sometime, the sooner the better.  We all go through this.  When I was in my teens, my dad was the dumbest man in the world.  It's amazing how much his intelligence improved by the time I was in my 20's.  If you want to improve your game, put your stubborn pride behind you and listen to those who truly want to help you and know how.  You listen to your friends, but most likely they don't know what they're talking about.  Ask your father to videotape you so you can see for yourself the problems they've picked up.  If they don't have a video camera, try to borrow one.  You can listen to what I've said, or you can put me into the same category with your father and grandfather, the choice is yours.  Good luck, and let us know what you decide.  --  JohnP
