Do you think this will be a problem...

Last Thursday we had a sub for our league, this bowler is sanctioned through another league. However we totally forgot to have him fill out a sanction card for this league. Do you think this will cause a problem?

i think it might, i know in my Mens league it would and his scores would be forfieted and it was the teams responsablity to remember not the secretary. Even in my mixed league you have to fill out a card before you bowl, even if you are sanctioned somewhere else.

you might if you have rules like that, you could have some problems!

After being sanctioned, you need to fill out a card for every league only so the association has a record of all the leagues you bowl. I don't see where this would be grounds for forfeiture.

The rules state that a bowler must be sanctioned before the first series is completed. I have never seen a rule that states a sanctioned bowler must complete a new card within a certain time limit although it should be done the first time a bowler joins or subs in a new league.
