Favorite Balls of 2009
« on: December 24, 2009, 11:50:49 AM »
Ok, with the year about to close just wanted to see what balls everyone has liked the most this year.  Tell me your favorite solid covered ball, favorite pearl ball, and favorite all around ball. Thanks to everyone for your comments and have a Merry Christmas.

Solid- Power Swing (wish that I could have kept it abit longer).
Pearl- 505C (most underrated ball for 2009 works well for the mid-level price).
Overall- GT1 (great benchmark ball to start off with averaged around 220 on the first game with it).

Solid- VILLAIN
Pearl- Orbit Extreme

Overall- I would have to go with the VILLAIN. Went through several cover changes, from polished to 2000 abralon, and it covered a wide variety of conditions admirably.

Dropped down to 14lbs this year, so had to re-build the arsenal and went with all A.M.F. stuff. These were the standouts of things so far, but just drilled a long pin CODE thats really making an impression.  VILLAIN is very versatile and was highly overlooked, while the Orbit Extreme is a much better ball than many give it credit for, especially on a drier shot.

Solid - Virtual Gravity

Overall - tuff too choose between 2 complete different balls of the spectrum, but the VG has won me more money, so I'll give the vote to the VG.
