Any ball that has been released in the last 15 or so years (The Ball of the Month Era), will definitely not be on the list of potential "best selling ball of all time". Modern bowling balls just don't stay in production long enough to even have a shot to selling those kind of numbers. That title would goto a ball that was not only popular, but also stayed in production for many years. I would also guess it will be a ball from several decades ago. I mean honestly, who buys a vast majority of bowling balls? League bowlers. League membership is way down over the last decade, which means the pool of ball buyers is also way down. This leads me to believe that the best selling ball of all time will come from a time when there were a greater pool of buyers, and also a time when balls stayed in production for many years, as opposed to many months.
